SIA most certainly is not keeping pilots beyond 60 let alone hiring them. The union has been made an offer which has yet to be negotiated and probably wont come to any conclusion for as long as SIA is over staffed with pilots on the 744. Looks like that is going to be the case for around a year.
SIA Cargo on the other hand is taking pilots over 60 from mainline on local terms only with about 2.5% extra basic pay for every 2 years of experience on the 744..
