If they had bases down under and in Europe, I am sure they would have more applications. Including mine, if T&Cs otherwise were acceptable. If they do have so many aussies and europeans, why not build that into the rostering? As long as they are working you 32 days a month (!) and only offering Dubai base, it is not worth the ink.
It is (still) fun to fly for many pilots, but it is not THAT much fun
