Well i'm glad i not the only one who thought this whole eagle selection process was crap!
Was talking to some Eagle guys (there are a lot of good bastards at Eagle) at work recently, and they said that approx 80% of command upgrades are failing first time, and that there is a very high failure rate with checks in general something like 50%, is this true? If it is then they need to look at there check and training system. Most other airlines on average have a 6% failure rate so i'm told (I know this is the case for Air Nelson)
The thing that pisses me off the most is not just the interview process itself, but the fact that they told the candidates that they don't deserve an instrument rating! I've heard of worse things being said on interviews and ground courses at Eagle as well. Who are these nasty people at Eagle? Get rid of them immediately!
