REGARDING REQUESTING PERMISSION TO LEAVE SIN ON DAYS OFF
I also heard that before I joined and perhaps it is true. Reading my contract is like reading the aircraft manual: it puts me to sleep. All I know is, when my roster says "OFF" or "ATDO", I do and go where I want and I do not ask anyone for permission. I have never been called on those days by the company. If you leave SIN on those days, just don't answer the phone and make sure you get your ass back in time for your next trip. Simple
