Pls, pls, pls...get a FI rating, fly Skydive OPS, tug banners but do not fork you cash for a SSTR! A friend of mine went to a job interview (Company asks YOU to pay the rating BUT helps with the bank and pays it back in XXX yrs...) and the selector asked him what he was flying then. Answer: "...not flying, sir". Selector: "NOT FLYING?,WHY? Answer: "Well...wanna be a jet-driver,sir!" Selector: "C'mon! Get your ass out of here and get a FI rating, do something. We don't hire kids that wait for shinning heavies, we hire folks that have be doing ANYTHING in order to keep flying! Here is not a TR-shop!" This guy is my hero...
