We can see them at Bournemouth down to about three grand. But let me clarify, we are the only civil radar unit (airfield based) who are open all night in the south west. We can and do talk to stuff going into (and out of) B'mouth, but we do not carry out an Approach Radar function for them. Once aircraft reach a point 42.5 NM from Bristol, we can no longer provide it with a radar service. Or at least that's the theory.
