The bit about published out of hours proceedures seems logical.
But....

...I read the accident report in the link, and it states the aerodrome was closed....But also states there was a high intensity of microlight activity at the time of the crash, indicating that the aerodrome was open?!?!
Now I understand that the aerodrome in the example given was
unlicenced, but that isnt the same as closed....or is it??
Am I correct in thinking that this whole issue is down to the old classic, PPR; which of course could be by phone, radio, carrier pigeon etc...
