A little harsh I think CJ. There are a lot more line pilots than there are managers. Have you ever made the effort to report half an hour early for a flight so that you can pop into the office to say hello? It takes two to tango.
I do think that there is a tendency for difficult questions asked by line guys to be put at the bottom of the intray by management and that
is very disappointing. But it's also something that I have experienced throughout SE Asia for the last 12 years and I guess it's not about to change anytime soon.
Just remember: Any idiot can manage downwards. The art is in managing upwards!
