The GPS is a good example. Some NG pilots are terrified if it drops off the screen.
Yeah right!!
The only thing we are terrified of is being held up by a 1900.
Most "NG Pilots" worth there salt have spent years scaring themselves silly in GA with bugger all equipment. Those habits become deeply ingrained and hard to forget, a little old GPS failure means pilot brain reversion, not a problem.
