According to this
article Ryanair plan to launch a route between
Santiago de Compostela and
AMSTERDAM on September 1st!
Does this mean an Amsterdam base?!
Could it also mean that the aircraft planned to arrive in Charleroi on September 1st will instead go to Amsterdam due to a delay with Charleroi's new terminal?
I would have found the thought of an Amsterdam base fairly improbable except for MOL recently saying that FR are going to have to start flying to bigger airports. And considering that FR fly to Madrid, then why not Amsterdam?
Strange though how FR would agree to expand in the Netherlands given that aviation taxes there are set to sore, but then that's happening in nearly every European country right now.
Aer Lingus pondrá en marcha un par de conexiones a la semana entre la capital gallega y la irlandesa, Dublín. Y, por la otra, Ryanair pretende establecer un puente diario con Amsterdam (Holanda) a partir del 1 de septiembre.
