Interesting to see Greenpeace are calling for a boycott of BA's new flight to NQY. I guess it's a fairly obvious target for the green lobby - using a 737 on a short-hop like LGW-NQY just can't make sense. Presumably a 737 is only efficient when it's in the cruise.... and it ain't ever going to get in the cruise on such a short flight. A good opportunity for ASW to work their
PR machine on the environmental benefits of operating regional aircraft on regional routes.
Yes, but if this a/c previously operated on an under-performing GLA sector, I don't see what the problem is. Talk about storm in a tea cup, but they love to have a go. It is just a total nonsense.
