So, as a "poolie" I am considering living in SFO and commuting to LAX on the freighter with hopes of eventually getting into the SFO pax base. I am assuming that SFO would work as a preferred port? Seems easy enough to me. Also, can anyone attest to the availability of the SFO pax base and the associated quality of life?
