Das Unglück passierte oberhalb der Schmittenhöhe bei Zell am See. Oberhalb der Areitbahn im Bereich der Schoberalm stieß ein Sportflugzeug mit einem Hubschrauber zusammen. Beide stürzten ab, sagt der Pinzgauer Katastrophenreferent Franz Michl.
The accident occurred above the Schmittenhöhe near Zell am See (seems to be a ski resort). The aircraft collided and both crashed in the Schoberalm area according to accident investigator/expert Franz Michl (not 100% on Katastrophenreferent).

One of the aircraft burnt on the ground and six people were killed in the accident, according to rescue services commander Gerhard Huber. Rescue personnel are continuing a search for survivors.
