I think that the management have been very clever here, the company has too many pilots at the moment and there are plenty of people at the bottom of the pile all waiting to pay for their spanking new 800 rating. The balance of supply and demand belongs to supply, and the company are taking advantage of this, as one would expect. I don't believe that any amount of pilot action from REPA/BALPA will make a blind bit of difference. A vote yes will hurt some of the work force but a vote yes will give every pilot an uplift, considering the state of the market at the moment: if you cant stand the heat then get out of the kitchen.....
