There was no Captain under Training on board in the TAC flight. It was never an S/O to Capt promotion....the guy was not lucky
irregardless whether the FO did the landing or not, the issue was they stepped over the limit. I can only speculate that the Main gear touched almost abeam the 1st taxiway going to the ramp, after a long flare when landing on 18.
Remember the BACOLOD flt.-B737 year 2004? it did a high approach, with extra speed and came for the landing. It did not come out from the RWY, but tires were squared and deplated eventually. Bacolod is about 1800m+ long.
How about the 320-Bacolod late 90's?
or, the BAC1-11 MNL flt that overshot the RWY years years back?
They all have one thing in common........
