Either that or it gets halfway through the shut down procedure and then stops(
or
depending on how i feel at the time!)!
I find that closing down all my applications including the background ones such as firewalls and antivirus etc, before I start the Shut Down process seems to stop it happening(well at least less regularly
!!).
Try it an see if it helps.
