I can only reinforce what the sheikh says - went EK in 2003 returned to the real world in 2005. Whole family very glad to be back, notwithstanding taxes, etc, etc
EK works you into the ground - brutal rosters and financially not a good move - barely caters for the now, let alone providing for the future. As a Captain with a UK charter could have afforded a 2 week holiday in the Jumeirah Beach - with EK couldn't afford to go for a meal there!!
Each to their own but I would strongly counsel against the move - don't be blinded by the smoke and mirrors act at the interview!!
