More on the plus.net saga :
They have just massively reduced the number of ports available. This means that those poor sods who didn't get kicked off (such as myself) now can't connect anyway. I spent an hour trying to, then eventually connected with a ukgateway.net account I have.
I looked at plus.net's forums and found out what the problem is. Interested parties who want to see how not to run an ISP can go to
www.plus.net and click on "Discussion Forums". Pretty, it's not.
I'm now using btinternet.com
