Sure would be nice to see a national standard in equipment pay. That is to say that no matter who you work for, your pay would be a fixed standard for that equipment, based on weigth, number of pax etc. This of course would be decided by a national association of pilots-good luck. I think it would be great to see managers make less money and pilots getting remunerated for their level of responsibility. Nothing wrong with putting food on the table. Equally nothing wrong with fair pay to buy that food. Just because you work for an LCC or Charter or whatever doesn't mean you compromise what you're worth.
