I'm sure that is fine in your perfect worldbut in the real one that most of us live in it is a little different.
A perfect example was on a flight with a red tail when the capt rang on the interphone and asked a Thai F/A to check one of the toilets as they had message that there was smoke (it turned out that a pax was having a gasper)..When the said F/A answered he told the capt that he did not need to go to the toilet but thanks anyway.
It's fine to say culture does not matter and it's racist to suggest it but the reality is that language and culture does in fact affect operations.It's great that someone likes to be "waied" to but if the manure hits the turbine I would prefer complete fluency and understanding in communications.
Is that not one of the most basic tenents of good CRM.
