Well Hello there Richardhead......there must be some kind of reasoning behind your comments......either you are relatively new to aviation and/or you are one of the people who will "Fly for food"!?!?
If "pilots" stood together and avoided working for deadbeat airlines ( not specifying any particular airline) and tried to maintain some kind of basic starting salary commensurate with experience (like most still self respecting professions), then we would not be having this conversation...would we!?
People would not get "giddy" at the prospect of others taking paycuts or job losses if they didn't give the opportunity to deadbeat airlines (worldwide) management to take advantage (more like preying) on "naive" newbie/optionless pilots. .
And sad to say but the truth of the matter is that the guys who take the paycuts and job cuts bring it onto themselves in the first place !!
So it's not a question of WTF but rather who gives a f*%# and if more pilots worldwide would give a f*%# then we would not be having this conversation!
