Okay - I was really losing hair when I posted - perhaps hoping that there were some MSCEs among the PPRuNe ranks
Anyway, we sorted the main problem and convinced the customer that "having to delete the space code" was a security precaution"
and now I'm free to take my vacation in time for the Brighton Bash and McD's Bash
(the "immediate customer" was a Yank who was trying to get out of his job with "The Prince" and wasn't allowed to leave until the problem was solved - so I didn't feel good about taking my vacation 'till it was looking good!)
