Many thanks to all the kind folk who have offered much valuable advice on this matter.
I feel much better knowing that I can still obtain my license all be it limited to daylight hours. I have another lesson booked for next wednesday and will have a chat with my instructor about this.
The forum seems a very friendly place and I look forward to participating in furure. Its always comforting to know that there is place where you can obtain good reliable information.
