These slots are very limited ( 30+ students per class ) and training batches are few and far between due to lack of aircraft ( Hueys, Defenders, Bronco's, Hercs ). Age limit is 26 years and you have to be at least a 2nd Lt in rank. The 8 year service minimum is for PMA grads while OCS/ROTC grads have less years to fulfill. The flying is exciting, combat and transport flights will challenge the limits of your flying skills. As you might have heard, a lot of them leaving for the airlines, for good reason. Military pay sucks! One can hardly support a family with such meager income. Other options you can look into if you wish to self finance your training is the PAL Av School and Omni aviation in Clark. Training costs vary so try calling them to get a better idea.
Good Morning to all! I just want to make clarrifications regarding this matter of serving 8 years in the service (PAF).Im a graduate of PMA and also PAFFS, I think 8 years service is the minimum for all graduates of PAFFS regardless of your source of commisionship. Thanks! Have a nice day to all!
