Under EU law it isn't necessary to have a Swedish AOC to operate out of Sweden (one of the largest airlines that is based in the UK has an Irish AOC). It would be possible, and legal, for GSS to operate passenger flights out of Sweden on behalf of FlyMe. I'm not saying that this is likely to happen, and know of no plans to do so, but it does make one wonder why Flyme would want to buy shares in GSS if this was not the plan.
