Line and Base maintenance
Hi
Is there anyone out there who could give me any help and advice as to how to get in to base or line maintenance?
I am currently 23 fresh out of university after completing my BEng Aeronautical Engineering degree. I appreciate there are a lot of views out there about university grads going into these area and fully aware it will be difficult and hard work, but I've done a lot of research and this is what I want to do! I know apprenticeship schemes are long passed for me so my questions are:
1) How much would it cost for me to self-fund my licence?
2) Where could I go to get the necessary training?
3) Would airline/engineering companies take me on to complete the practical experience I would need?
