MS Excel vs. Open Office Calc

AFAIK Excel only can calculate up to 9.999:59 hours.
Open office calc makes more then 20.000:00 hours.
OPEN OFFICE is free !!

and works also on Windows.
The bad thing is that to less people use open office.
