How can psychological problems affect your licence?
During the basic flying phase of my f-ATPL training, something happened to a class mate of mine that has me posting this question to you. This person to my experience is a good pilot in the making. However, because a few very close calls in the (heavily over-used) practise area, he lost all his confidence to fly solo. Obviously he will have to overcome this and that is why he agreed to take a break from his training and talk to a CAA therapist.
My training organisation however is looking to have his medical licence revoked to clear them from any money-back guarantees on training costs.
How likely in your opinion will the CAA therapist decide to revoke his medical certificate?
I appreciate your valued responses!
