Spacies advice above is not correct.
There are Security and Health & Safety issues when dealing with work experience at any unit and especially Aldergrove. Do not contact any Sqn direct, they cannot accept your request and at best will pass it on to those who can. Every RAF Stn has a Community Relations Officer who may be able to help but probably cannot.
My advice is the following:
RAF Careers Information Office. Visit them and state your request, they will have their fingers on this particular pulse more than anybody else here. People such as yourself are why they are there.
If you are an ATC Cadet, then Wing HQ at Aldergrove may be able to make some progress for you.
Finally it is highly unlikely that you will be offered an air experience flight regardless of your ambitions (even if you are a cadet). If this is your real objective, then do not bother. The service has many members from the Province, all of whome have overcome the problems that you face. Your entry here shows initiative, but I would be weary of letting anyone this side of the Queens shilling know that you frequent PPrune.
