Ah ladies, i see the fun police are here...well it is obvious, the quickest way to the ATPL is via Microsoft Sim. I myself having, on many a torturous night with a few beers in hand flown single pilot B747 to Hong Kong in actual time, just to boost the hrs in my log book. Man i learned alot from those sorties.

And the answer to
Flingingwings question is that the GC and the RL are the same going southwards, so i could choose either since it is the same line. The front of the CRP-5 is is more fun, i have to admit, but gets used very little these days. The trusty calculator is quicker and saves on the RSI of the thumb muscles
