IP Address: 192.168.0.101
Okay so either that was a typo yesterday, or DHCP is doing it's thing and giving you different IP Addresses to avoid conflicts.
I cannot run browser as it does not connect to the internet-I get "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage"
Yep, ignore that and type
http://213.161.73.143 into the address bar anyway and press Enter!
You may find that PPRuNe (or part of it) appears ... in which case you are actually connected to the Internet but cannot resolve URLs (which is what DNS does). Alternatively the "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" message may remain?
As a double check, try the same test with
http://66.102.9.104 which is the IP address for Google.
dns servers: 192.168.1.9
64.245.166.16
Hmmm ... still there then, and I still don't like the look of that!
