No - it's not a dummy. I have Terrain warning capability etc. It was just the recency I was querying.
I know the Oz ground doesn't move much, but it's always nice to be up to date.
SoSouth, sounds like a lot to me. I paid about $20,000 for 430 PLUS a bunch of other stuff including GPS steering (GPSS) - highly recommended BTW.
