Agree with backround noise's post. Having spent a substantial amount training a pilot, as long as the correction is reasonable and manageable, glasses are ok
Also, intake needs play a role in that when there are few cockpits to fill, selections' are more so, when jets are sitting empty, minor exceptions are much more common.
