I tried to search the forum and the whole net but noone seems to have answered this question before.
I was just looking at the pictures of the first two F-16 delivered to the Polish Air Force, yesterday (thursday)... this is the link:

The pilot you see on pictures number 8 and 9 is Mike Meyer and can't figure out why he is wearing glasses. I was always told military pilots must have perfect sight and those wearing glasses/contacts are not allowed into the air force as pilots... can anyone explain this to me??
Is he just wearing some kind of special glasses??
