Post Bilingual Aviation Language

Normally aviators in Canada tolerate the lunacy of having two languages spoken which obviously robs an Anglophone pilot of situational awareness. One has to have abnormal trust in the French ATC system.
That tolerence is rapidly dwindling especially since the language police banned the sale of the cuddly toy that talks.
You see, it only speaks English.

Punish the children?
The body count from this loss of situational awareness started in France when the French pilot of a MD80 was given Take off clearance in French and another pilot talking to the English controller was cleared to line up from a taxiway further down the runway. The MD80 wing sliced into the cockpit of the Shorts and killed the crew.
We may be stuck with this dangerous situation but the Gov of Quebec just won't let up.
Picture this scenerio.
Qubec seperates.......they will then HAVE TO speak the International Language of Aviation or no Airlines would go there unless spoken to in the appropriate language.
