Ah the slagging begins, how's it going Helldog?

Was wondering if this is the right plane for the Serengetti, considering it only takes 50 minutes to get form Arusha to Seronera in a Van or a Twin otter. Thinking perhaps it's too much plane for the job, also the hopping around in the serengetti, lot of short legs. But for sure it's the right plane for Arusha to Zanzibar and the Ruaha run. Also for some smaller internal routes that used to be flown by Eagle Air.

But what is intresting is that Arusha is Runway is limited to Seven tons, so officially it's too heavy, unless there have been some changes.

What other aircraft in a similar size range are suitable? We got the Let's and twin otters out here already and they do well, but what about CASA 212's Though officially also too heavy. Dornier 228's have prooved their worth out here too, so long as they are looked after, In my View the 228 is a great plane.
