Flying fixed wing airliners after military chopper flying
Hi all. I am off into the Army on the 8th of Jan to start my basic training. My main aim in the army is to become a chopper pilot, hopefully the apache.
I was just wanting to know how and if you could convert your licence from chopper to fixed wing (atpl) to be able to fly airliners. Also do all chopper hours count towards fixked wing hours?
If anyone could help me out that would be very much appreciated and it would also be good to hear of anyone who has taken this path and no have a successful job with an airline.
