A lesson to all managers (not aimed at this situation, just generally), you cannot sit on your laurels and expect your contracts to renew automatically. Treat your customers with respect and do not let them down by running short on staff or spares. We all know of instances where aircraft have been off-line for lack of spares or pilots and it will not be forgotten at renewal time. This is an obvious statement........ isn't it???
