BIH bought Veritair out a while back, kept JV on as manager of the operation. He is allegedly currently suspended from flying for over cooking two engines on a 355N.
BASL have won the contract and plan to be there for a considerable time (Elsewhere actually). So JV has lost his contract, lease hold and captaincy....
BASL are a very efficient operator and there is no doubt they have put their cards on the table with this foray into the south of the border police market. Whether others want a full turnkey operation remains to be seen.
It has got to be very good news for the SEWASU consortium.
