I did press charges, but only for "grievous bodily harm" which does not carry a lot of weight. Prosecution of this charming individual is apparently under consideration, but it doesn't look very promising. (not for me, anyway
)
The captain could have filed for "endangering the safety of the aircraft by attacking an active crewmember" which would have been prosecuted for sure.
No such thing as claiming for damages in my country either!
