A new twist:
I was phoned by the police yesterday with the news that my attacker is bringing charges against me and the company. The poor thing claims that his handcuffs were too tight
He has been off work since the incident, living the life of Brian, and is claiming damages...........
How weird can this get?

I was recently attacked and beaten up by just such a lovely, after which our glorious captain declined to press charges, and the company figured a bunch of flowers would set me right otherwise. (it didn't)
I'd like to know if there are companies out there who DO have a good system for dealing with incidents like this. Of course, any horror stories about mad pax/lax companies are welcome too!
Thanks.

Jetlegs. Now that this joker is considering sueing the company and people involved it might galvanize your Company and this Captain into doing what they should have done in the first place and make sure that this cretin gets put behind bars. I hope it is not too late.
I agree that a blacklist should be compiled and shared amongst all airlines. These people do not deserve to fly and endanger other passengers and crew. Niether should the actions of a few be allowed to change the way flying is currently conducted. Next we will have breathalysers for passengers and no booze on board. Why should everyone be penalised?
