OK, apologies I was refering to the absence of everyday random drug & alcohol testing in the workplace as part of a work place policy. Coppers won't have a bar of it, considered unnecessary according to the Police Commisioner - over end of story - something to hide - no two ways about it. Now pull your head in Mr average aussie idiot while we & the Government ride rough shod all over you & you can't do a thing about it.

Pollies would argue the same, we all know they go out to lunch and get driven back ‘cos they are over the limit, but not apparently over the limit enough to make decisions about how the country is run.

On an aside, the point about the US & THEM. I remember very well, going back almost 13 – 14 yrs perhaps at a well known Gold Coast Casino an off duty police officer was caught stealing chips off a gaming table. The magistrate let him off with a warning, because we all (the public) fail to understand the pressuer the police are under, one shall never forget that.
