This is all very well....

Only one thing AAB and his team seem to be forgetting....CREWS!!!!
The whole world is scrambling for pilots with some sort of experience with the Far East gearing up for a massive boom in aviation.
In the middle east, not exactly the nicest place to live, all companies are running very short on crews. Money is not good anymore, the area is getting overcrowded, cost of living is on a constant rise and the people can be very unwelcoming.

The only career airline in the region, EK, is facing huge crewing issues. The others like QR and EY are just barely staying afloat. The lack of job security, pension shemes, housing plans etc ere taking their toll now.
I know AAB still claims that a lot of people want to join QR. Well, he is either informed very badly by his staff or he is just believing in pink elephants because no pilot with experience is willing to come our way. The few individuals that are seeping in these days are way below standard pilots. Results are a rise in failures in the early stages of training....People fail in the sim training constantly!!!!!

So who is going to fly an aditional 40 airplanes???
Mr AAB, sort out what you have created first! Bring in a descent sollution for the housing problem! You where so good at copying everything EK is doing so copy their housing plans as well! And not the way we did before, no below standard appartments in Musheirib or dirty houses in the industrial area! And waiting untill after the hated Asian games will not help...it will be far too late than!
Maybe copying their transportation plan would be a good idea as well, looking at the mess that has been created in Doha with al the construction work.
Bring in that Provident fund you have been promising us for years now. Take care of the families of your crews and the, maybe only than, you will be able to man some of your planes with descent crews.

we all know QR had a couple of close calls lately...very close calls. We are running on the edge of everything, including pilot training and recruitment. If this continues we will crash and burn....
