I work for a charter airline and since I got my command I have had a simple philosophy - good customer service pays dividends. Our passengers fly once or twice a year and some are a little apprehensive. I do my bit by welcoming them aboard personally from the front and also accepting any number of flight deck visits provided it's smooth and fits in with what SWMBO or HWMBO at the front of the cabin wants. We have a great variety of folks up front, it passes the time, adds to customer service and keeps us awake on night flights. To anyone who has had a bad experience - forgive and let the passengers come up - they really do appreciate it and after all - they keep us in a job.
