Luton Airport has appointed Elliot Renton as finance director. He joins from MFI and was previously at drinks giant Diageo.
Mr Renton, 39, has spent two years at MFI Furniture Group as supply chain and global category finance director, stabilising and enhancing supply chain finances, negotiating varied third party agreements and undertaking some active operational roles. Prior to MFI, he was eight years at Diageo, in a variety of financial roles across the organisation encompassing group finance, market and product development and product sourcing and supply.
Well, well,..... since MFI have resorted to selling off the 'Crown Jewels', their stores to private venture in order to survive and the Global capacity he had was limited to the UK, has this chap been 'Head Hunted' off the dole?
