Kiwi

Just thought I'd put in a plug for the much down trodden, lambastered and neutered RNZAF. Having deployed many time offshore (who hasn't these dyas) its always a moral boost to hop on to an RNZAF 757. There's plenty of room, the in flight video plays cool kiwiana, the foods great and it gets you there fresh. Deployed once to work with the french in Noumea and they were flabbergasted with the luxury. At worst case the teeny weeny blue line airline can give you a surprise with a c-130 but even then the food is always good. It doesn't matter who you work or were you go its almost likely your're half way there when you get on board a kiwi ship or aircraft.

Reading this forum I thinkl the 1* - 4* should have had a look at the facilities and service. It shows poor command/leadership that this is allowed to occur. Service in this instance shouldn't be plush but it shouldn't be as dodgy as it sounds.

The bean counters need to be taken to task also - poor conditions / slow inept service degrades moral, poor moral degrade performance poor performance meens more blue on blue, more civ kia, more road accidents more theft crime and frustration. All of these things cost - probably more than the measly difference between good and less than average service here.
Plenty of Brits popping over here to NZ have no problem enjoying the lifestyle. Problem is half come over here and contribute well and buy into being in the NZDF the other half are whinging poms that look down on us colonials
