You got the figures almost right. You must be in touch (chismoso hehe!!) with a lot of current PAL drivers to get that info. I am in the Group 1 pay scale and I earned approximately 2 million pesos net for the year 2005. That includes base pay, flight time pay, transportation allowance, and bonuses (2 months worth).
Divide my annual salary by 12 and convert to USD comes up to $3300. I think we have the lowest pay scale for wide-body captains here in ASIA!!!! But I hope to get a substantial pay increase next year, but not necessarily here in PAL! Thanks for the help.
