Double check the requirements for the Mod yourself. Talk to Cessna Tech Pubs yourself and read the SB carefully.
Some years ago I was given a quote of $19k+ for the mod to the Bravo. In fact the SB was free, the mod consisted of an adjustment to the throttle microswitches which was done on a normal maintenance input and the AFM supplement was free.
Net result all totally free.
People quoting me did not do it maliciously, just did not know what they were talking about and had not done any research so took a wild guess.
