However the EK TRE/TRI are very very good. Our guys have been flying the 777 for over a decade now and really know how to teach the boeing.

If I had a choice I would want to be trained exclusively by EK training staff. This would ensure consistant teaching methods during the initial training phase........but its an effect of the rapid expansion.

Sorry, I have to partially disagree. Been here long enough for that.
We do have a very few good instructors and check airmen, but most of the new guys are very green. They are only required to be on the left seat for a few months before getting a position as a TRI and suddenly, they become experts in Boeings.

I've been flying all sorts of Boeings in the past twenty-six years and I would be uncomfortable to qualify myself as an expert on those airplanes.

I've seen these guys at work in the sim and on the line and some, just quote from the manuals and spend a lot of time on this CRM BS. They act like parrots.

I believe EK is mature enough to attract highly experienced and qualified instructors from outside.

IMHO
