have heard from a good and reliable source that one is a yank and is very competent with many decades as an Heavy jet instructor, one is ex BA also very competent with decades of heavy jet instruction, two are ex Air France with similar experience and one is a recently retired EK TRE..... all with many years experience on the Boeing 777.
sooooo I hope that helps a little. and yes the Alteon guys are working overtime to learn EK procedures ...but from what I have heard EK procedures are being respected.
However the EK TRE/TRI are very very good. Our guys have been flying the 777 for over a decade now and really know how to teach the boeing.
If I had a choice I would want to be trained exclusively by EK training staff. This would ensure consistant teaching methods during the initial training phase........but its an effect of the rapid expansion.
